About the author
Dr. Olutunde A. Ogunsunlade was born in Ire-Ekiti Nigeria on July 27, 1946. He attended catholic elementary schools in Ire and Ado Ekiti. He then went on to attend Annunciation Catholic Secondary School in Ikere-Ekiti, Nigeria. Dr. Ogunsunlade came to America in 1972 and attended Long Island University, College of Pharmacy in New York. He graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelors in Pharmacy "Cum Laude" in 1976. He was inducted into the "RHO-CHI" Pharmacy Honor Society.
Dr. Ogunsunlade proceeded to enroll at Howard University College of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dentistry Degree in 1980. He was a recipient of numerous academic awards. He was also inducted into the "OKU" Dental Honor Society. Dr. Ogunsunlade did his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital. He was also an assistant professor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Howard University College of Dentistry for several years. He is currently in the private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Ogunsunlade is married to Abimbola Ogunsunlade and they are blessed with three wonderful children.
