Christian Running sets the pace for The Christian Potentiality Series, which will include: Christians Thinking Like Energy, and Depth-Dynamic Christianity (d2c). A belief in the realness of human potential moves Christians to forgive, have a nonjudgmental attitude, and nurture spiritual growth. Potential rests within, and flows out from, the "fountain flowing Deep and Wide." Did you sing that song in Vacation Bible School? The author did. It somehow managed to leave a deep and lasting impression. The Lord really does work in mysterious ways! The fountain flowed freely as Moneyhon trained for his "comeback" marathon. And the marathon itself became a powerful symbol of his whole life, and a life made whole.
About the author
Darrell Moneyhon is a fifty-nine year old retired prison counselor with an education in psychology and philosophy. He wants to help himself and others get "paroled" from the "prison of partness," free to roam the streets and avenues of wholeness. His first book, Allsville Emerging, aspired to do that on a collective level by blueprinting a model community with an optimal, spiritually liberating, culture. About Wholeness focuses more on individual ways to be whole.
Darrell and his wife, Becky, have been married forty years now and are blessed with two adult sons, Adam and John. The four of them recently enjoyed a vacation in California, where they realized the dream of seeing the giant Sequoia trees. In a way this book parallels those majestic beauties. We all have access to something much "bigger" than we think. Our potential for wholeness is a Sequoia within.
