Thomas Nelson
I heard Thomas Nelson is working hand in hand with ASI for publishing and marketing. Some say that this is a perilous move for small time publishers and writers. I want to know more about this issue. What are your thoughts about this merging?
this has been an issue over book and author communities. How will this joint venture affect the publishing industry? especially that most Christian books are written for ministry, and has little or not much funds.
For one, this will directly affect on the options for most writers. Most likely, Nelson would recommend ASI to all it's authors for book marketing. The budget for book marketing would slightly be affected since authors from Nelson would be working closely with ASI. It's more on trimming consumer preference.

Hi Kasandra!
There is an underlying-threat with regards to consumer options. You have to be wise in exploring your options on publishing and marketing your book. You may read more about the topic on this link: http://www.bookwhirl.com/Marketing-Tips-Archive/deciphering-matters-on-r...

Why do you think Nelson chose to have joint business with ASI? I'm wondering because Nelson is a big corporation, it can go on even without assistance from ASI. Anyone please? Do you have any thoughts about this?

I've read a lot about this over the internet. People have been debating about this for weeks now. I'm not really an expert about publishing or anything. But i think Nelson is more into Christan books. Can those books be considered as ministry or something? Moving on, maybe both companies needed more projects. perhaps...security.
