being rejected

I just wondered how you keep writing after so many rejections. I've been submitting my novel over and over again and it always end up as "maybe next time". Is it normal to always get rejected? How do you guys keep going in the face of rejection?

Hi Charles,

Rejection and criticism is inevitable. You have to understand that your piece is subject for evaluation according the quality and worthiness of the storyline. You want to satisfy your readers, right? Charles, i would advice not to take rejections negatively. Experiences like rejection is a good avenue for polishing your writing skills. Don quit. Take it positively.

I agree, take rejection and criticism as a challenge, be optimistic and go and get a proper training so you can make it better next time, don't let anybody to push you in giving up something that you love to do.
