Who among you have used book trailers to promote your books? Did it made a difference on your sales? I'd like to read your experiences on this matter.

Book Trailers

The problem with most book trailers are that they are boring. And, if you can't get through a 1-2 minute trailer, you're not going to buy the book.

A good commercial can certainly lead to sales, but whether it gets you enough sales to pay for the commercial, that's another matter altogether.

If you're going to do a trailer, come up with a concept that is entertaining in itself; the sort of commercial that you see on the Super Bowl.

People remember them, and that's what you want.
