I'm currently working on a manuscript about two brothers who are facing post war difficulties. How do i give emphasis on the death scene? How should i put enough feelings?
As i have observed, death scenes are supposed to be gloomy...It's full of recaps and reflections. But i think it would also depend on how you're doing with your storyline. Drastic deaths always works good for me.
