Hi this is Joy Grace. I'm already 50 percent done with my first manuscript. I've heard and read a lot of publishers and it makes me more confuse on which publisher to settle down. Do you have any specific publishing company to recommend? Thanks a lot!

Way to go on your manuscript! At least you're half way there. If you talk about publishers, there's a long list...Lulu, Xlibris, etc. Tell us more about your upcoming book.

Uhm...I'm quite stuck on the 25th chapter! I am distracted with all the heavy workload in my job. Right now, i'm having a difficult time to find priority in finishing my manuscript. I want to publish my book, but i need to work to fund it. Work is just eating me up. It's just frustrating!

Hello Joy!

Well, choosing the right publisher can be really tricky. I'm sure you are bombarded with a long list of publishers. Take your initiative to research. Then write the list of publishers that you want to consider. Your own judgment will be most suitable for you. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to post them here.

Hi. Thanks for your advise! I agree about doing the initiative to research. What i'm looking for is a reliable adviser on where to publish my book. I've read and heard a lot about publishers who rip off authors, taking advantage of their innocence. My book is a biography about my mother. Hope you can give me a list of suggestions. Thanks!

re: publisher

Hello Joy,

You're welcome. There are a lot of reputable publishers out there. One of the largest publication company is Author Solutions Inc. Maybe you can check them out yourself. You can use BBB.org to verify any company's legitimacy. If you have other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reply on this thread or email me at info@bookwhirl.com.
