Before trying out with vanity press, i want to try my luck with traditional publishing. I'm honestly afraid to invest much of my money. It's to risky considering that unemployment rate is increasing. Can anyone give me tips for submitting to an agent or publisher?

Hello Liam. That's surely an optimistic spirit! :-) Traditional publishers would usually go for highly marketable works, those that sell to a large chunk of readers. This wouldn't be that challenging if your book is written to spark interest catch reader attention. What are you planning to submit?
