Memoir: A Family's Story
My aunt and I coauthored a book, Miriam Daughter of Finnish Immigrants, a story of my grandparents' journey to America in the early 1900s. Miriam's story reveals her family's challenges and triumphs as they carve out a life in the rugged northern Minnesota wilderness during the Great Depression. The book has received very positive reviews and reader response in the US and Finland. I am marketing it through on line sales, mail order and direct sales at various events. Writing our book took three years. The experience brought me a new appreciation for the resiliency and strength of my family.
